The candidate must have a minimum of a Level 1 Nature Guide Skills Program to qualify for the course

Qualification includes:

• Back-up Trails Guide Skills Program
• Relevant SASSETA Unit Standards
• Advanced Rifle Handling: Lead Rifle
• Tracking Skills Specialization
• Trails Guide Exam
• Back-up Trails Guide Assessment
• 4 Weeks (28 Days) Walking Experience
