With the terrestrial part of the course now over we are delving into South Africa’s coastal and marine environment. New books and a new set of ecosystems and organisms to learn about, from the small ones you can’t see to the biggest mammals on the planet. Outside the lecture room and when the wind and waves allows us we will be going out on a boat as well as getting wet doing some snorkelling. Then there is coastal and beach walks and more lectures and exams. All in a few short weeks. Looking forward to it!!!
